What you get

Real Meet meetings, everywhere scheduling happens

Not a pasted personal link — a real Google Meet meeting created on your own account for each booking, so your Google settings and identity apply.

  • Every booking, automaticallya VIDEO meeting type creates the Meet link the moment someone books — on the host's own account — and the confirmation and calendar invite carry it.
  • Invites that behavestandards-correct calendar invites that update on reschedule and cancel cleanly — plus reminders and self-serve rescheduling, free for every seat.
  • Instant calls from chatthe “Call” button in any conversation spins up an instant Meet meeting on the same connection — no calendar required when a thread needs a face.
  • Mixed teams welcomeconnections are per person and each meeting type accepts the set of providers you choose — one host on Meet, another on Zoom or Teams.
  • A hiccup never blocks a bookingif Google's API errors, the booking still confirms — the connection surfaces the error and the link attaches when the API recovers. Losing a lead over a video outage is not a trade we make.

Calls start where the conversation is

Every client thread in Coordinator carries a Call button. One click creates an instant Google Meet meeting on your own account — no calendar dance, no pasted personal link — and the meeting's notes live on in the thread where the work is.

    Your note-taker is welcome

Because it's a real Meet meeting on your Google account, Google's own AI applies on plans that include it — Gemini's take-notes-for-me in Meet works exactly as it would on a meeting you created yourself. Third-party note-takers you already use join the same way they join any Meet call — Coordinator doesn't sit in the call and doesn't need to.

And after the call, the AI here takes over

Paste the summary into the meeting's thread and an AI team member — or your own assistant over MCP — turns it into the follow-up tasks, logs the time, and stages the next steps.

    The fine print, proudly

How Coordinator treats your Google account

Bring-your-own-account only works if the plumbing respects the account. The details:

The smallest Google permission that works

Coordinator asks Google for exactly one scope — permission to create Meet spaces — and deliberately not calendar access. Most tools take full calendar-write permission to make links and then litter your calendar with shadow events. We never see your calendar through this connection: Coordinator owns the schedule itself and sends proper invites, so your Google account grants the minimum and your calendar stays yours.

A real Meet space per meeting

Links are created through Google's Meet API on your account — the same kind of room you'd make yourself, usable the moment it exists. The chat 'Call' button uses the same connection to spin up an instant Meet when a conversation needs a face.

    Disconnect means delete

Credentials are stored encrypted, and disconnecting deletes them outright — nothing lingers to be revoked later. Coordinator hosts no video and sits in no call.

    Getting started

    Connected in about two minutes

    1. 1

Open Account → Connections and choose Connect next to Google Meet.

    2. 2

Sign in with Google and approve the single video-meetings permission — that's the whole grant.

    3. 3

On any meeting type, allow Google Meet as a video option. Done — every booking now carries a real Meet link.

    FAQ

Google Meet + Coordinator, asked directly

Do I need Google Workspace, or does a free Gmail account work?

A free Google account works — Meet's own free tier applies (its limits are Google's, like the 60-minute cap on group calls). Workspace accounts get whatever their plan includes. Either way the link is created on your account, so your Google plan sets the call's rules.

Will Coordinator see or change my Google Calendar?

Not through this connection. It asks only for permission to create Meet spaces — no calendar scope at all. Calendar sync is a separate, optional connection you control independently.

What happens if Google's API has a bad day?

The booking still books. Link creation is designed to never block a booking — the meeting is confirmed, the connection is marked with the error so you can see it, and the link can be added the moment the API recovers.

Does every host need to connect their own Google account?

Yes — connections are per person, which is the point: each host's links are created on their own account, under their own identity. There's no shared company login to leak.

Can I use my AI note-taker on these calls?

Yes — any note-taker that can join a Google Meet call (Gemini's built-in notes, or third-party note-takers like the one you already use) works unchanged, because the meeting is a genuine Meet meeting on your account. Coordinator doesn't sit in the call and doesn't need to.
